Goodbye Lima Bean!

Lima Bean went to his new home on Sunday before Christmas! He will be living with a single dad and his son. I think they will have a a wonderful life the three of them I dont think the cats of that household are to thrilled though!

While Coco for the time being will continue to stay with us as we look for a home. She is progressing well on her potty training only having one or two accidents a day and her crate training is going as expected with a lot of sleepless nights due to howling. She even made it up the front steps of our apartment all on her own today which is a huge step because before she was terrified of the steps! Now we have to work on getting her to ask us to be taken out when she needs to go but right now I would be happy with getting her to sit!

Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! As we round off the year with our last holiday and my personal favorite I cant help but feel excited for the new year and all it will bring I will be posting on New year with a recap of the year and hopefully what to look forward to in the New year, but look forward to our last post of the year on Thursday it will be an update on puppies so far!

Slight problem...

So I might have Coco bean a bit longer than anticaped because she is proving to be a difficult girl to find a home for! So I started teaching her basic commands sit, lay down and so forth. The thing however that I did not see being a problem that now is, is the fact that Coco bean will not walk on the leash by herself she needs her brother (Lima bean or runt runt) to walk with her otherwise she plops herself down and does not move and inch, and anytime she is forced to move she howls her little heart out. I honestly dont know what I am going to do with Coco when its just the two of us on our walks. How are you suppose to potty train a puppy who wont walk?! If any of you have advice please let me know!

Goodbye Vanilla and Pinto!

So over the weekend to of our puppies went to their furever home. First to go on Saturday was Pinto. His owner came and signed the paper work and got her puppy. This was the owner of the stud that got Maja pregnant so this puppy was going to live with his daddy. I wish them both all the best. Then Vanilla went on Sunday to one of the fellow fighters in mine and my roommates armored wrestling group. She will have a wonderful life in a house full of kids and two other dogs. I think she found the best home possible and will never be lonely. That leaves Coco Bean and Lima Bean. Lima Bean has a few prospects of homes and with Coco Bean the search continues though we have a few people lined up. We are excited for our puppies and their future lives in new homes!

Sleepless Nights.

The puppies went through sleep regression as of recently. They have gone from sleeping through the night and waking up at 5 am to waking up every few hours and barking and howling for thirty minutes to an hour. Its been really hard on us but they get their shots on Friday then they can go home so we are excited for sleep again. We will miss them though this has been a very fun and interesting experience to go through. One of the homes for the puppies back out so now we are rehoming him to a new home and we are excited to interview possible homes.

Puppies First cheese.

The beans had another milestone this Sunday! They had their first piece of cheese! To mine and everyone's surprise the one that took to it right away was Vanilla. She started out licking it while the others sniffed then promptly snatched it out of my hand. While I tried to introduce her siblings to cheese she became a bit of a menace and kept stealing the cheese from her siblings. Finally Pinto managed to get a bit. Then we separated Coco and Lima bean and they both got to enjoy the wonderfulness that is cheese!

Announcement

Now that the puppies are not developing as fast to where I need updates every few days at least I have decided to change how often I post to every other day meaning Tuesday, and Thursday. Thank you for reading and I will see you on Tuesday with more posts!

Two Awesome days!

So on Saturday was my birthday I turned a mere 22 on the first of December. I started celebrating on Friday and went out and saw the new fantastic beasts movie (The Crimes of Grindlewald) and I enjoyed that very very much. If you have not gone to see yet I highly recommend it with out giving to much away Jude Law makes an amazing Albus Dumbledor! We proceeded to get into a debate on our way back to our vehicle about which is darker marvel or DC comics and some random stranger joined in that was fun.
The next day was pretty fun to I was woken by calls from many of my family wishing me a happy birthday even a few people called that I didn't expect so that made me smile. Then with the timing of an angel I got a birthday card in the mail with money in it so I used that money to go buy a birthday cake yummy! Then I went down to the family owned bar and had some food chatted with people and won some money on pull tabs! Finally in my favorite online horse game they released the holiday horses including reindeer which my player is famous for so I was able to buy some reindeer!
That wound down two wonderful days for my birthday!
